Good Mates and Partners

Dave and Steve are members of the Cambodia team of Servants, an international network of Christian communities living and working in the slums of Asia and the west.

Servants Cambodia partner with a local Cambodian organization called TASK. Justees is partnering with the TASK drug rehabilitation project (TDUR) to provide income for schooling and vocational training to graduates from the TDUR program.

Soksabbaai is a small sewing cooperative that provides income with a fair wage and good working conditions. Justees t-shirts are lovingly sewn by Soksabbaai.

Nonviolent communication (also called Compassionate communication) is a way of expressing oneself honestly and listening empathically that seeks to build compassion or a mutual giving from the heart.

The Centre for Nonviolent Communication provides plenty of online resources as well as access to training courses and trainers throughout the world.

Slavery/Human Trafficking

Prescha is a new initiative working towards the elimination of modern-day slavery and human-trafficking by raising awareness and challenging the ingrained social and cultural norms that facilitate trafficking – these include issues such as gender inequity, education, poverty, family customs and perceptions regarding sex.
